Speltoppen vecka 26

Super Mario Galaxy 2 fortsätter föga oväntat att toppa spelförsäljningen i Sverige under sommarmånaderna. Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4 gör en stark debut och har tre platser bland de 12 bästa. Eftersom vi inte får några specifika försäljningssiffror vet vi inte hur bra spelet har sålt i förhållande till andra. Räknar man ihop försäljningen till de tre formaten kanske Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4 skulle toppa listan.

Noteras kan också att Nintendo fortsätter att vara mest framgångsrika speutvecklare till sitt eget format. Fyra av de tio bäst säljande spelen till Wii är Mario-spel. Därtill kommer Wii Fit och Wii Sports. Således: sex av de tio bäst säljande Wii-spelen är Nintendos egna. Samma visa såg vi med Nintendo 64 och Gamecube. Historien upprepar sig. Skillnaden är att Nintendo denna gång är marknadsledande.
